Why another VPN?

Traditional VPNs share servers between thousands of users. Yours has been alive for months, touched by who-knows-what traffic. ODVPN is different.

Boots in under 25 seconds

Your server launches fresh every time. No cold hardware sitting in a rack waiting. A clean instance spins up on AWS Graviton when you tap Connect.

🔒

One server, one user

Nobody else's traffic touches your instance. When you disconnect, the server self-terminates. There's nothing left to subpoena, hack, or correlate.

🌎

Choose your exit

Pick a region (Frankfurt, Paris, Dublin, Virginia, Oregon) and your server boots there. Your traffic exits from that city, period.

💰

Pay only while connected

No monthly subscription ticking away while you forget to cancel. Buy time in packs, use it when you need it. $0.99 for 90 minutes.

Three taps to private.

  1. 1

    Pick a region

Choose where you want your traffic to exit. Each region shows estimated boot time and your latency to it.

  2. 2

    Tap Connect

A fresh server launches just for you. Watch the countdown: typically under 25 seconds from tap to connected.

  3. 3

    You're protected

All your traffic flows through an encrypted IKEv2 tunnel. Disconnect when you're done and the server disappears.

Private by architecture, not policy.

Most VPNs ask you to trust their no-logs promise. We removed the infrastructure that would make logging possible.

  • No traffic logs. Your VPN server exists only while your session is active. When you disconnect (and after the 15-minute grace window), the instance self-terminates. There is no persistent machine to accumulate browsing logs on.
  • Connection metadata is short-lived. We store your client IP, session timestamps, and region in a billing ledger that auto-deletes after one year. We never log which sites you visit or what data flows through the tunnel.
  • No accounts, no email, no identity. Sign in with Apple gives you a private relay identity. We don't know your name, email, or anything about you beyond "this person paid for time."
  • Credentials are ephemeral. Each session generates a unique EAP username and password. They're valid for that session only and destroyed with the server.
  • IKEv2 with ECDSA certificates. The tunnel uses a publicly-trusted server certificate minted per-session. No shared secrets, no PSK files sitting on disk between sessions.

Questions

Why does it take 25 seconds to connect?

Because we're booting an actual server just for you, not routing you through a shared box that's been running for months. The tradeoff is a brief wait for a completely fresh, single-tenant environment. Most sessions are ready in under 20 seconds.

What happens when I disconnect?

The server stays around for 15 minutes after you disconnect, at no extra charge, in case you change your mind and want to reconnect quickly. If you don't reconnect within that window, the instance self-terminates and the ephemeral credentials are destroyed. After that, connecting again launches a fresh server.

Which regions are available?

Currently: Frankfurt (eu-central-1), Dublin (eu-west-1), Paris (eu-west-3), N. Virginia (us-east-1), and Oregon (us-west-2). More regions will be added based on demand.

Does it work on cellular?

Yes. IKEv2 handles network transitions natively. If you switch from Wi-Fi to cellular (or between cell towers), the tunnel reconnects automatically without dropping.

Can I use it on both iPhone and Mac?

Yes. One purchase works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your Apple ID. The app is universal, and tvOS support is coming soon.

Is this good for streaming?

ODVPN gives you a clean IP in the region you choose. Whether a streaming service accepts that IP depends on their own detection. We don't specifically optimize for or against streaming. You get a standard AWS IP address.

What protocol does it use?

IKEv2/IPsec with ECDSA server certificates, driven by Apple's built-in NetworkExtension framework. No custom VPN protocol, no third-party tunnel library. The OS handles the crypto.

Do my minutes expire?

No. Once purchased, your minute balance stays until you use it. There's no monthly reset, no use-it-or-lose-it pressure.
